A Quick overview of key buttons in the Job Hippo app

Updated over a week ago

In this article we'll cover off the key buttons as well as the sign in process that you'll probably use on a regular basis in the Job Hippo app.

Logging in

The standard log in process just involves entering in your username and password.

If needed to or asked to by the Job Hippo team you might need to add in the Job Hippo Server that you need to connect to. To be able to add this option into the login screen you just need to press on the question mark symbol on the top right hand corner and then choose the USE BASIC LOGIN button at the bottom of the screen.

Your login screen will now look like this.

The Main menu row

  1. AGENDA - Any jobs assigned to you that have a visit added to them.

TIP: Having a visit assigned to a job isn't mandatory so you may have a job assigned to you that doesn't have a visit.

  2. JOBS - Any job that you've been assigned to.

TIP: It's possible for you to be assigned to the job overall OR a visit on the job (that means you might be one of a bunch of people who may have been assigned to that job).

  3. CUSTOMERS - A list of all the customers in your Job Hippo system.

TIP: You'll only see this button if your account has been configured to see it.

  4. MORE - The WORKFORCE option so that you can manage your team (if you're account has been configured to see it) and HELP when you want to get in touch with the Job Hippo support team or find one of these awesome articles that we've written just for you. Lastly the ability to logout of the Job Hippo app.

The Orange "Add" button

This button allows you to create things, e.g. a visit, a job or a customer. The real secret here is make sure you've chosen the thing you want to create first, e.g. choose the JOBS button first and then press the orange plus button to create a brand new job.

HELP

The Job Hippo help area has two key options. It gives you the ability to get in touch with us by sending us a message, or the ability to have a look at old messages. The other option is the ability to search for one of this awesome help articles that we've created for you.
